So, who here thinks that RP will be selected as the nominee's running mate to a) secure the libertarian base and b) to effectively minimize RP's political role/clout in Congress?

Never! The illuminati and stone masons will make double secret deals with everyone in the government, media and internet (excluding internet polls of course) to make sure Ron Paul remains the same loony guy with even loonier following he's been for the better part of the 20th century.

You sir owe me a Shiner's Bock, I just spit it on my computer screen and desk.

I bet RP will see less than 15% of the vote today.

Very prescient. RP is polling at ~13.5% so far, despite flaming Paulbots...

Ah, yes, there is a conspiracy where a virulent racist who is anti-civil liberties will actually win a primary, but forces will make sure that he doesn't actually win and will suppress the vote. Or, you know, people aren't going to vote much for a crazy old racist man.

Stormfront members are happy to vote for Racist Ron Paul.

When Ron gets in power the rest of us will be able to enjoy the mind numbing drugs that the Paul Bots are on now legally.

Too many people are just too damn stupid to vote for Dr. Paul.

I had more faith in people, but I've just lost it. Hamilton would love democracy if he saw how stupid people were today.

Wrong. He'll only remove any federal opposition. The Paulbots must be one some crazy stuff beyond marijuana, which no state will make legal.

You need to remember that Ron Paul is only about the federal government. He thinks that states can force you to use any 'mind numbing' drug if they so desire. He's that messed up.

There's a word for those 'stupid people'.

It's 'adults'.

Ahhh yes, the "I am the only right person and 95% of the country is wrong". Such elitism is humorous, especially when its constrained to the portion of the population who are either mentally ill or ignorant to the stupidity of Austrian Economics.

Yep, your 95% has made so many wise choices over the past couple decades. Just look at the fantastic shape this country is in!

You're a part of the idiot majority and are too stupid to recognize it.

Just because you don't think the 95% is right doesn't mean you have any better solutions.

Ron Paul's 5% "solutions" are shit and are not "solutions". Being different just to be different isn't being different, it's being foolish. His ideas are foolish and cannot work in the real world.

The US is a superpower and one of the most elite countries in the entire world. Sure, there are problems, but if Ron Paul and his supposed 5% (it's probably less than that, there aren't that many racists around, IMO) had their way, then the US would easily be worse off than it is right now. Just imagine the horrible economic conditions from believing in fairy tale economics and the lack of civil liberties under the Ron Paul 5%. It would be horrible!

We all know that people supporting the other candidates aren't smart enough to use the internet.

Sorry airdata, you, Ron, and the Ronbots will be crying with each passing primary or caucus. Ron will be lucky if he gets more than 10% of the vote in Florida primary.

Maybe I should start selling Ron Paul crying towels but then again there's not that many people who support him.

Unless they buy towels with the same vigor they flood online polls and forums with. Then you're set. Just have an online survey that requires one towel purchase to vote in.

At this point I'm more concerned with the state of our countries political process than the most qualified candidate winning.

If you're not concerned w\ widespread election fraud, you shouldn't be voting.

No, you're just another Ron Paul supporter that's crying because you're finally realizing that Ron had absolutely no chance of becoming the GOP Presidential nominee.

I'm concerned with election fraud perpetrated by Ron Paul. He has deceived people and I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if his legion of racists rigged some of the ballots in favor of Ron Paul.

Internet polls showed the same last election cycle. And what happened to Pau 2-3%l.

  • People that are to young to vote that are participating in the polls
  • Polls are being hacked/flooded by bots
  • Internet does not reflect real life decisions
