I'm fairly sure this is the first time I've ever agreed with Millennium but being 6'3" 205 myself I can empathize. Flying is bad enough without inconsiderate jerks like that.

Here's an analogy for you guys. I'm sure a lot of you have been the first to bitch about people smoking in restaurant haven't you? Well what's the problem? The person doing the smoking paid for the table didn't they? Oh, but what they're doing in the space they've paid for is cutting in to your comfort. I got it now. Even so, it is a smoking restaurant so it's their right isn't it? Go somewhere else. Please, spare me the stupid "smoking's a health risk to me" arguments. The coke you're washing you diner down with is probably more harmful in the long run. While the analogy is slightly different it really boils down to the same thing, a person being well within their rights but still infringing on your comfort.

I'd love to see people start building the world around tall people and see how long it takes the short people to start b1tching.
You mean like placing urinals higher?

what airline?

i always flew AA or Southwest..never had a problem w/ people leaning back...i always had enough room.....

there's chairs that go that far now?..wat the heck..?

I'm 6 foot 210. Not sure what a taller person would have done.

I'm 6'4 and 240 lbs, not fat either. First class is the way to go. I flew over 100 segments last year and this year I nearly always get bumpted to first class. There are a$$hats, always will be. Sounds like you were behind the exit row. Not much space there.

Be patient, none of us like it.

I'm 6'4.5"

My knees make it physically impossible for the seat in front of me to recline . . .

They try, from time to time, but I just push back (by lifting my knee up) until it becomes clear to them that pushing the little button will only make their seat go farther forwards.

heh, if they are reclined (and I'm stuck in the middle on a crowded flight) I just start rocking their seat . . not kicking it, because I can't because my knees are already implanted in the back of the seat, I just push it forward as far as it'll go, release, repeat.

If occupant of said seat hassles he, I tell occupant that I am just trying to keep circulation up in my legs lest they require an amputation when we land.

I'm too poor to ever upgrade to first.

Speaking of leg room, how's American Airlines? I was talking to someone last week, and they said American had more leg room than the other airlines. Is there any truth to this?
