Never played this game... Heard mixed reviews, but at $5 it's hard to not justify this purchase.

Hope you didn't miss Direct2Drive's $5 game sale that went on all last month. AC and dozens of others were up for grabs.

And if you haven't played this game, do so. It gets repetetive, but I never stopped having fun. It's quite pretty too.
 
Yeah, great game. I recommend an xbox 360 controller for playing it though. So much better than a mouse and keyboard.
 
Indeed a very fun game. As jonks said, its repetitive, but its still fun doing the same things over and over again. (hell, I had fun just running around on the rooftops for no reason.)
 
I wonder if it's the same in Canada? I'll look when I get home and may just pick it up for that price.

Yes, I'm in Canada and buy off steam. You do have to pay whatever the exchange rate is.
 
I actually just found the Xbox 360 version in a used game bin for $5.

I've always wanted to try it so now I guess I'll find out whether I'm one of those who loves it or hates it.
 
I grabbed it too. Not really the style of game I usually go for, but I'll buy just about anything for $5. 😛
 
OMFG I just bought it for $20 two days ago. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

This is the fourth time in less then two months that I bought a game on steam, only to have its price dropped to less than half within less than a week afterwards.

It ended before end of Thursday cause I tried to buy it about 9pm CST yesterday and the price had already gone back up.

Dunno, but I think all of the PC versions are "Director's Cut" versions. The original game came out quite a bit earlier on the consoles, so they added something to the PC version.

For some reason the game won't detect my XBox 360 wireless controller ... anyone experience something like this?

 
I'm enjoying it..but has anyone tried exting the game? WT holy F is up with having to go through like 5 menus to exit?? Is there a way around this?

Pretty sure people were complaining about that at release. Not sure if there is a workaround for it.
