The real problem is, we finally figured out what the AIs wanted out of Desmond. Then we have to go back in time again? That kind of makes no sense. We should only be getting the present/future now. To see what happens next.

If anyone finished AC3 you know what I am referring to.

The story was so bad in the first one, I haven't played another. I don't care how cool the fight cinematics look because I know the game won't look like that and I don't have faith the story will be anything except awful.

The second one more then made up for the first shitty game.

the story was fine (IMO), it was the execution of the game that sucked. sooo frustrating at times. the 2nd was such an improvement it was unreal

i find it odd that they are showing SSSSOOOO many commercials for this game right now and it doesn't come out for 7 months.

I respectfully disagree. Could be really great fleshed out. Been a while since we've had a decent naval battle game.

I see your point but it was poorly done on the control side IMO so I avoided doing the extra missions.

I think they are advertising heavily because they will be competing against new consoles and that hype at the end of the year.

I loved the series until AC3, in my eyes they have to win me back as a afan i will not purchase this game just on the name alone.

I seriously hated the first game. I don't know why anyone that played that one would ever want to play another one again.

Well, luckily for me, I didn't actually play Assassin's Creed until Revelations was out. So, people were able to inform me as to how bad the first one was so it didn't turn me off of the second one.

What about AC3 did you not like? I thought the game was good and we got a lot of revealing story. However, I don't see why we will now go play in the past again when we just found out what Minerva wanted with Desmond. Really the way AC3 ended it seemed like we should now have all the clues from the past and just need to be in the present time.

For me it was boring. Also this was the 4th AC I'd played and I"m just tired of it...it's not the type of game for me I can play a brand new game every year. I also have never paid attention to the story as I didn't really care, so that part wasn't important to me.

Honestly the story is the only thing worth it in assassins creed to me. All the history and such really makes it worth playing through. Stories of landmarks etc.
