ASROCK X58 extreme 66.99$ at amazon!

That seems pretty hot to me. I bought one, I don't know if I'll use it or just sell it when Amazon raises the price after the sale. It's almost $100 cheaper than Newegg.

The only thing I noticed is that the picture on Amazon is definitely not the correct picture.

Also just noticed Product Description: ASRock 4COREDUAL-SATA2 R2.0/Core 2 Extreme/VIA PT880 Ultra/1066/2DDR2-667+2DDR-400/AGP/L/R/ATX Motherboard.

Yeah, this might not turn out so well. I might have just purchased myself a trip to the post office to send this thing back. But on the other hand it might be worth the risk.

i had the Asrock X58 extreme in my cart since yesterday and when i rechecked the cart the price went down, so for me it was selected since the price was 179.99$ i've just checked out with the item, will see.

I've been looking and looking at this deal.

Looks like the second seller in that Amazon link has lowered his price to 100.00 + 50.00 shipping to compete with Amazon's price. 🙂

It looks like some kinda screw-up and you may get a great deal but I'm not gonna hassle with it.

that's a very good price; newegg wants 160 for the board. though 22% of the review on the egg are negative; seem to have some QC issue.

This price is great, but is it really an X58. The Asrock site shows all their X58 boards with 6 memory slots, but the product photo on amazon has only 4 as far as I can see. Could the picture just be a generic mobo picture?

Tempted. Amazon has three reviews from June 2010 and two refer to it as an X58 so it appears to be the correct product even though the picture is wrong. I think I'll give it a shot. I don't have an i7/DDR3 board yet. 🙂

Looks kinda like a very iffy deal to me. Most likely it's not gonna be the X58 board in the box when you open it up....Not worth the risk to me 🙂

With a 33% last 6 month Very Poor 1 Egg rating @ New Egg, wouldn't the risk be that it was a X58 board?

Nothing wrong with Amazon's return policy regarding a mis-advertised product.

If I were in the market for a 2nd new build I'd be tempted by this price.

I didn't know ASRock only had a 30 day warranty for consumers..

ASRock provide 1 year warranty service to Authorized Distrubitor ONLY, users should refer to the retailer or original vender RMA & Refund policy. For non Direct Customers, there is a $35.00 service charge + shipping for each item

I usually don't put much stock in overall Amazon reviews because at least 50% are chowder-head operator screw-ups but I've read all the reviews and this board is just plain cheaply built.

Coupled with the 30day warranty there's no way I would sell a build with that board....the support calls may push you over the edge. 😀

OMFG.. Fingers crossssssed... If this fuking works.. OMG....

Probably a mistake,, i just has to be...

The picture is OBVIOUSLY wrong.. but i mean.. theres hope yes?
