So, here is the config:

ASRock G31M-S
Intel e5200
Patriot DDR2 800 memory
Enermax Liberty 500w PS

The system will turn on but, no post. I have pulled the memory out one stick at a time with no effect. I cleared the CMOS to no effect. What else can I try?

Try using error codes. Figure out which BIOS you have and then look them up. Plug in just the speaker and PSU. POST with errors about CPU? Insert CPU and power up again. I just looked at the manual for that mobo and its rather useless, so turn to the BIOS error beeps.

So, I RMAed the MB to Newegg and got a new one. I can't get the thing to turn on now. I have never had this much trouble with a system.

-Should it turn on if I remove the ram? Trying to eliminate that possibility.
-Tried two different PS'. One would spin the fans as soon as I plugged in the PS without turning on the system. The other just won't light.

ideas?
