asrock extreme 4 gen 3 freezing on code "92"

The little code on the mobo and the boot screen says "92" when it freezes up. I flashed the bios, still freezes. Sorry, search is broken =[

i5-2500k, mobo listed in title with z68 chipset. 8gb g-skill ripjaw, corsair 620, HIS 6870


Also, I haven't reformatted in a while, and did get a Boot Manager error earlier. Ran the repair tool and it seems to work now.

in either case, status code 92 is: 0x92 PCI Bus initialization is started

you might want to try resetting the bios (there should be a button)

did anything else change since the error started occuring? new hardware or something?

z68 chipset. It is a brand new build, all the parts are new...

Do you have the bios setup correctly? Have you changed the timings for the ram, set the voltages up, etc?

Edit: Also whenever you have a fresh build you should reinstall the operating system.

never changed anything. Booted it up fresh, hangs on error "92". won't even boot from cd-rom when it freezes. Hitting the Clr CMos button fixes it temporarily.

I did nothing and it works now.....oh well

Clearing the cmos reset a value that was off and solved the problem, that is what I would bet on if I was a betting man...which I am...which is why I am making that bet...20 dollars on cmos clear ftw please.

I was clearing the values every time I reset....and that was the only way it would boot. This morning I hit the button, started to reach around the back and it booted...

was getting this error off and on. apparently it doesn't like my g500 and logitech webcam plugged in at the same time. updated incase anyone comes across this on google or search.;
