The PS is very, very quiet. Moves virtually no air.

The case fan that comes with it is not too bad with the cover off. It gets kinda whooshy with the cover on. It seems as if the fan is trying to move more air that the vents/slots in the case can flow.

Yea 6800GT or 6600GT, anyone knwo if they will fit or not? the X-Qpack does seem like a good portable case unlike the Thermaltake Monster Kandalf case I had my eyes set on.
6600GT fits. Not a lot of extra room along the top of the card, but it fits.

If height was the only issue good news is that the 6800GT is .005" shorter than the 6600GT. The Length on the other hand might present a problem. The 6800GT board is 8.5" long about 1.62" longer than the 6600GT.

I just bought this case cause of its good looks and power. I'm planning to fit the 6800GT into it. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Please update when you get the Card installed. By any chance you getting two Video Cards? I'm thinking about going SLI with dual BFG 6600GT OC

Thanks!

It'll fit. I'll get a pic up later. No time right now.

I've put in a standard sized PS. You must use short optical drives with a standard PS. You can see there is plenty of room for a longer vid card.

I've put this together for a friend. Fortunately he did not want a Floppy drive. It was the only place to hide the majority of the power cables and they would not all fit. The PS that comes with it has nice short leads and just enough of them to power everything. A better setup if it will serve your needs.

thanks for the pics man, I was tempted to order one after seeing them. But, then I remembered I have a monster of a heatsink and there's no chance it will fit in a case tyhis small.

muhahahahahahahah....it always puzzles me why people that have a USB mouse and a USB machine still stick to the old mouse port, even though they have to use a fragile and flimsy converter. Don't you know you only need to use that thing if you don't have USB ports ?

Newegg has the ChenMing versions now too. One with NO windows (Yaaaayyy - in stock and $95. shipped) and one with one window for all you exhibitionists... The one with window is currently OOS (due 6/10) and is $92. shipped.
. Take a look at the specs on that PSU - only 300 Watts but shuffled correctly!

.bh.

All i just purchased a Silver X-Qpack along w/a Intel D915GUXLK. Case is on back order until 6/7 so I am just planning it out for now. I will be adding an X800xt to this as well.. I will let everyone know how I make out.. I will also work on a new P/S down the road as I am taking away 2 4 pin molex connecters for the X800xt 6 pin adapter (the p/s does not have that type of connector). I am gutting an Dell8400 for the parts on this unit minus of course the heat sync...

take it slow.. I will add pictures during my progress.

a x800xl with a ati silencer should fit with no problem. i have a 6800gt which fits with no problem at all

I just got my case on 6/8, and was thinking about getting a ultra x-connect power supply, will this fit with a dvd burner, i have a sony and plextor dvd burner? From the looks of it, it might be a close fit.

Ultra power supply

Just for kicks....

Who's got this little case and what Mobo did you guys outfit it with?

Personally, I want a portable LAN party rig based on a socket 939 MoBo, but man, the pickins are-a-slim.

Los

Mastashake, I was considering that, but decided against it. My setup would be... either Foxconn Nforce4 board or MSI ATI chip board, whichever CPU/RAM/HDD, Sony DVDRW drive (because shorter), whichever PCI-E video, whichever Seasonic S12 series power supply. All dreams must come to an end. 🙁

How come you decided against it, if you don't mind me asking?

So far, I only have 2 - 160 GB Sata Drives and 1 - 8X DVD Burner to outfit this case. I'm looking for a pretty kicking MoBo for gaming.

Decided against it because... already have too many computers... felt CPUs would be wasted in motherboards that don't overclock much... wanted to use large (quiet) coolers that probably won't fit...

Just ordered this motherboard to put in it.

Sweet! A Zalman 7700 fit in there huh? Were you able to install it before sliding the mobo tray in?

Yes, the 7700 fits prior to sliding in the MOBO.
I hits a bit on the side of the case when inserting it but
once past that point it has 1/2 inch clearance to the side
of the case.
