Newegg link.

What do you guys think? Anyone actually have one to comment on? I am seriously thinking of picking one of these up, as I really like the looks and the integrated dual-temp sensor LCD and fan control. Plus, the nice 500W PSU is a nice addition as well. Thanks.

I like aspire cases. I build PC's for some people and have used about 3 of them. They are OK. But not great.

I was actually thinking about this case for my next personal build somewhere in december/january.

A couple things, I am not to fond of the lights on the front, and there is no switch. So you have to unplug the cords from inside the case if you dont want them on. Second, I have not seen a aspire case that has USB 2.0 in the front. Only regular USB. I am not sure about this case but I dont *think* it has USB 2.0, and for that reason alone I would stay away from it. But check first.

And the Temp probe, wont tell you your cpu temp, just the ambient temp inside your case, depending on where you put the probe.

If anybody knows a perfect case let me know, I am looking for something with a side window/vent. And some front usb2.0 jacks. Has to be alumnium. Nothing heavy. Extras are very nice, but im not looking to spend more then 200.

Hope this helped a little blurredvision

According to their site, the ports are USB 2.0, so that's a good thing.

As for the lights on the front corners, I wasn't too fond of them either, but I figure they are easily disconnected if they are too gaudy/distractive.

The interior of the case is just like my current case, but with an extra 3.5" expansion holder at the bottom.

I currently own an aspire x-dreamer II. It didn't even come with a manual. But I was able to put it together anywyas, even though it was my first build. The front lcd temp. disp. at the front of my case has already had the light go out.

SandTiger, have you checked out the Thermaltake Tsunami. Its been getting some good reviews. I have it as well, and absolutely love it. It goes for ~$125.
