Aspire PSUs: How do they rate?

I'm lurking retail sites and scouting parts for my next build, which will probably be constructed in the next few months. During my travels, I've noticed a LOT of Aspire PSUs selling for very nice prices - for example, a triple fan PSU providing 520W for $65 off of newegg.

I'm not overly familiar with Aspire, and the 4 or 5 reviews I read through on the web were mostly favorable. However, there were a few catches here and there (one review had a 500W PSU supplying 5.4V on the 5V rail, which is a little...scary).

Anyway, if anyone has any knowledge, I'd love to know opinions on Aspire's PSUs. Are they crap, and thus the cheap price, or is Aspire just offering some amazing deals for the dollar? Cost per watt, they've got Antec's True Power series beaten by about 50%

Plus, there are some very nice extras, such as included sleeves for the cabling, and other things that us folk interested in building nice, cool, stable systems like...

Cheap psu's for average box.

I've built several aspire cases and used the generic 420W that came with it for several customers. No dead psu's reported for the past 2 years.

But I wouldn't buy one personally for my own use since I:
1. overclock
2. i have monster gfx cards
3. multiple hard drives

By the way, any triple-fan models don't have or use smaller heatsinks. I prefer massive heatsinks with dual fan.

The ampages on the rails are pretty low on them...however, I have a 420W aspire psu and have never had a single problem with it *crosses fingers*

Yes, and this is the rub - as with most here, I build my systems with gaming in mind first, everything else second. I don't do too much overclocking, but there will be a monster graphics card and multiple hard drives in this system...
