:disgust: I posted the message about the Aspire Acer Lap Top to share the information I am not a spammer!!!!!!!!!! I am an adult university student, 59 yrs. old, and I am disabled so money and good deals are important to me. I am ex-Air Force having worked for the Dept. of Defense, so don't make judgments about participants so quickly. You guys have typical geek ego's except for Mday who actually figured out that perhaps I posted in the wrong forum, thank you. I won't be participating anymore you are a waste of my time.
 
It was locked because HT is the wrong forum to post this in, not (necessarily) because a mod really thought you were deliberately spamming. What they really should have done is moved the post somewhere more appropriate, and/or put a note in it.

If you are posting about a good deal/rebate, it should be in Hot Deals, not Highly Technical. Otherwise, post in General Hardware or SFF/Notebooks.

When you want to post a hot deal, try not to make it seem like 100% pure spam. The wording and presentation is important. This is a huge forum so we get that a lot, and when you post that you got a great deal and you should go check out a specific website when you have 2 posts and, most importantly, you think you found a glitch in the system, it raises some flags. I'm still skeptical but less than before.
