If this is the same study i did a paper on a while back, the rats were given the equivalent of the amount of aspartame you would get from drinking 250 cases of diet pepsi per day... intravenously.

and I have no reason to want to drink any diet crap that has those artificial sweeteners. My family says they cannot tell the difference, I say BS because anything that is diet I can right away from the aftertaste from the artificial sweetener. blech

lmao
as I pour another glass of Crystal Light, which I just realized contains aspartame.
hmm, interesting as all other drinks I cannot stand if it contains any fake sugar, even splenda, but especially aspartame. yet I can handle Crystal Light...

:cough::cough:

I drank diet pop for a while, but have since given it up as it would make me feel sick (the ones with splenda were actually worse than the aspartame ones to me for some reason). Since then, drinking regular pop, I felt a lot better (and I really don't think I put on any weight from that). Regular pop can make me feel kinda sick if I drink a lot of it. Neither one can even remotely be called healthy, although for me personally, regular pop was better. I wish we could get pop with real cane sugar in it.

Jones Soda or Dublin Dr. Pepper.
