I'm trying to find some info for someone else who lives in the state of California

are there any lower car insurance companies/programs/etc for low income people?

Similar to government assisted housing in san diego, irvine, and lots of other places in cali for low income people

While I've been there - and I know that it sucks - I would certainly hope that my tax dollars are not subsidizing other's insurance. . .

Sheez don't I pay enough in taxes?
