ok, here's a serious one for you:

How do you get a girl who does not want to date (due to moral (tied in with religious) reasons, which I follow myself as well) to go on a date?

Well, it seems like you're more willing to date so have a talk with her. Tell her that you know its against her morals to date but that you think you guys should give it a shot. You only live once you know? If she's not willing then she's not interested or she's not open minded enough to look past some of those morals.

People who are not willing to do things that are against their morals are not open minded? Geez, how intolerant is that...

People who have excessively strict morals are not open minded. Of course, the judgement of whether someone is open minded can be rather subjective.

And the problem with that is? Some people don't believe in compromising their values simply to please other people.

There is nothing wrong with closed-mindedness (other than immediate social impact, I suppose) unless it's imposed on others by law or some other method.

Agreed.

However, my definition of closed-mindedness is different than yours. Just because I may stick to my beliefs and morals doesn't mean I haven't given thought to other people's points of view and that I'm not considerate of other people. What you are describing sounds more like people that try to force their beliefs onto other people.

what kind of engineering do you do? Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechanical, Civil?

Electrical.. I guess not a very bright one since I didnt know the ping pong ball question. I definitely wouldn't say engineering is my passion.

What would you rather be doing? It took me 3 years working as a Mechanical Engineer at a consulting firm to realize that it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Good nite - btw

I would rather be doing something a little more artistic... consider taking night classes while you work .. that way you can support your interests and hopefully taper out into what you really want to do.. Good nite!

Close-mindedness lead to the imposition of morals, laws, and other things. If someone has CHOSEN to believe a certain way then the'd fine. However, if someone has CHOSE to ignore everything and CHOSEN to impose their will, then I will beat them to death with a shovel.

I think this post is going to be taken over by the closed-minded/open-minded topic so that will be all from me for now.. Good nite all

Because the best way to fight intolerance and imposing of wills is to be intolerant and impose your own will!

A beating with a shovel isn't imposing your will? I'm glad you're so very open minded. 😉

Hey, I've got a question.

The other day I went downtown to the record store. I was looking for some Haydn stuff, but like most of the miserable record stores in Manhattan all their classical stuff was shoved off in a back corner of the room and all of the Haydn was up on the top shelf. I'm sort of short, so I had to climb up on the lower display shelf to grab what I wanted. So while I'm standing up there a big chunk of wood breaks off and I fall down, quite literally busting my ass. An employee of the store runs over and he's pretty pissed, but he sort of understands my frustration being somewhat short himself. He says I shouldn't worry about the mess, he'll take care of it and I can take my CDs to the checkout. I was still reeling from the fall as a walked up to the cashier, and I handed him my stuff. He put it in a bag and started ringing up the sale... I don't know what I was thinking, I must have hit my head pretty hard, because I took the bag and just started walking out the door. The cashier didn't notice right away and I got a little ways out before their security came running out after me (I say security, this kid was shorter than me and built like a house of cards). He gets all up in my face so I show him what the fvck is up and give him a flying bicycle kick like Lui Kang from MK2. Then I proceed to smash his fvcking face in with a crowbar conveniently handed to me by the cheering onlookers. By now he's hemmorhaging blood and is begging for mercy, so I show him some and rip his fvcking spine out of his back. I'm not sure, but I think he's dead. Anyway, blood is all over my clothes, my face, the crowd, and the street... the cops show up, but upon witnessing the carnage I caused they decided against opposing me and named me king of America. Which is pretty cool, because I get free wax water cups and a complimentary American Royalty beer stein.

So like I was saying, I had a question for you: if you live in NYC, do you know a small record store with a good classical collection, and if not or otherwise, do you consider badass men like me attractive?

An African or a European swallow?

Now can someone please help me fix my son's computer?

No, I don't feel I'm qualified in any way. I just thought I might answer any questions that anyone wants to ask an average 25yo female

Why do some girls lie about their age? 😉

Can't you guys just ask something simple like how a transistor works?

Watch many movies? 🙂 You missed at least two movie references so far - this one (Monty Python and the Holy Grail) and mine (Mallrats)

haha.. No I don't watch many movies. I used to find it to be a waste of time. I'd rather be out and about... but lately I've been more willing to see movies.

That's cool that you don't waste time w/ TV or movies. So where do you go when you are out and about?

Where do smart, ambitious, adventurous women hang out?

If I've learned one thing, women are more different than they are similar. The opinion of one girl could be the opposite of another.

I'm bored and I don't really care about stupid questions. Notice I'm not answering all the questions though I'm surprised that I've answered quite a few not-so-great questions.

I'm not.

Why are you an attention who-or? lol

BS😉

I've had many roommates male and female, and I could offer no conclusive proof that any of them masturbate. This leads me to conclude that the males masturbated constantly, and the females were probably evenly split between masturbating constantly, and hardly ever.

(The second part is based on the reported masturbatory frequency of ex-gfs and some more informative female friends).

That's true.. I don't think girls do it often.. It just surprises me who does. Those roomates think I can't hear them but I'm a light sleeper.. LOL. I'd do it more often if it didnt make me feel all tense/sore afterwards.
