Why does UPS deliver packages as fast as they can while Fedex works as slow as possible?
Real example: 2 day UPS shipment comes in the next day.
2 day FedEx shipment that originates 45 minutes away from destination takes 2 full days. The first night they moved the package to Oakland, 10 minutes away from my fvcking apartment, and they left it there for the whole next day...

UPS just delivers it when they can. The lengths are estimates, basically. FedEx takes that EXACT time. Half the time my UPS stuff comes early; FedEx is never late, but they are NEVER early. The only plus side to FedEx is that they hire out their drivers (some of them don't have FedEx trucks, I guess you could call them freelance) and they sometimes deliver stuff early just because they're nice guys (happened to me once).

Ive had average joe contractors working for Fedex deliver stuff to my work, they always show up early and are generally more helpful when a problem arises. Fedex ftw!

UPS just lost my passport. It got shipped from a company in Chicago to our office in Bufflao Grove, IL, which should take one day. It was last scanned in Palatine on Thursday of last week which is about 8 miles from our Buffalo Grove Office. Still not received. What did they do with it?
This is the second time they have lost a passport for someone at our company.
How do they manage to do this?

Why do you send PASSPORT with sucky UPS? Especially after they lost one before? USPS FTW.

Why is it that I miss a delivery from Fedex, I go pick it up, no problem.
I miss a delivery from UPS, I have to call to have them hold it (which I did), they fvck it up and don't set it aside, "unload" the box from the truck, put it on the "belt", and now have absolutely no way to access my package till Monday when it's loaded up again for delivery?
It just makes no sense to me that they have no way to access their own packages in their own building....
