Asians dying their hair other colors - yay or nay?

My dad emigrated from Hong Kong to the U.S. to go to college in the early 70's. He is pretty fashion conservative and says he hates dyed hair on Asians.

I don't really care what color people dye their hair - green, blue, magenta, etc. But I have to agree with him. Blonde, orange, and red and a lot of other colors look really terrible on Asians.

What do you think?

No i think it's fine, but when they go over board and go all blonde or green it looks dumb. But highlights look fine imo, although personally im not a fan of red.

i am not against dying hair, but i think black hair looks best - be it male or female

I really have no opinion. the look is up to the person. If it looks bad on a person, it'll make you look better standing next to him

I usually hate the looks of it -- especially with blond hair and blue eye shadow.

But like jumpr says, I have seen asian women with auburn highlights that look real good.

I dunno... even auburn/brown seems a bit, well, off. I guess I am used to seeing Asian people with nothing but black hair, so that is normal to me.

Well, there is this 18 year old asian chick that I see downtown almost everyday and she has dyed her hair blonde and she looks seriously hot. Its a very nice shade of blonde and looks like it was done by someone that knows what they are doing.

I really need to buy a digital camera.

I had blond hair for a while. I also had brown hair... I'm finding most girls (in Torotno anyways) like the natural all black.
