first off, your sweeping generalization of it being 'common' is hardly accurate- about as accurate as Prairy Oysters being 'commonly' consumed in the South.

I'd think Deer and Horse meat would be pretty tough, no? Don't know myself, never tried.

As for eating dogs and cats, I'd try given the opportunity, but wouldn't eat it as I do beef or pork or chicken on a daily basis.

Uh, no eating dog is gross.

I understand the arguement of cows, pigs, etc is just the same, but eating a dog is almost like eating another person...dogs are man's best friend, and I don't know about you, but I don't eat my best friend.

But anyway, I don't care really, I'd just never eat it
