I'm bored with life. Partly .. mostly due to my mistakes, i'm stuck in a dead end job, and i have very few real-life skills which i could monetize.

I also like hot asian chicks.

SO i figured the next step is to take a CELTA and to move to *somewhere* in asia.

I understand this won't be a massive revolution, but it will be something new, and i crave a new experience. I need something i feel its a positive change, whether it is or it isnt.

So i thought to myself this was the best place to ask for your opinions; i'm gonna list a few ideas which have been buzzing in my head for a while and you can give me the yay or nay.

I understand this sounds stupid .. so i won't get mad if trollage ensues. 🙄

preface: i speak zero- asian languages. I know a few sushi names but thats it.
I'm not bad with language skills, since i already speak croatian, italian, english, a bit of spanish and a word or two of french.
In theory being a CELTA teacher should take care of that, since everything is in English.

1) I like asian chicks. :wub:
Specifically, i like Hong Kong/Chinese girls the best, followed by Korean, then Thai, then Japanese, then everyone else.

I don't have Adonis Blood i'm afraid so easier=better. Hardcore, cult of fashion, "looks are everything" life situations will likely result in me being less happy, not more.
Methinx this cuts out already Tokyo and most of Japan.

2) I LOVE seafood.
I go absolutely batshit nuts for shellfish, lobsters, crabs, prawns, clams, and so forth. I can also consume my weight in shellfish easily so anywhere thats cheaper is better than anywhere which is expensive.
(i can eat chili liek it's nobody's business, so no problems there)

3) i'm totally ok with rough / rustic / stuff that stinks, bites, stings or otherwise is anything less than comfortable. (pollution isn't quite as welcome)
I've had tons of experiences in many rough places in the world, so i'n not fussy about living somewhere that doesn't have traffic lights or hot water, and i love mopeds.

4) Money is gud.
I'd like to earn a bit from the whole experience. I've read up on celta wages and most are quite reasonable even for europe, but any advice in this area is always welcome.
(i'm gonna get my celta with maxmimum score because, hmm, thats what i do; so getting hired won't be a problem)

5) I have no preference yet and anywhere is good, be it Burma, Vietnam, Indonesia, anything.
In short, i got 2 gtfo of here, and i don't like Czech chicks. I've been to the caribbean, north africa, all over europe, etc .. i can manage.

This is likely to happen around early 2016; or rather, it shoudl happen early 2016 but it might be earlier or later by about 6 months, ceiling-cat willing.

What do you mean "high intermix"? I was in Vietnam recently and I did not see any more Chinese in Vietnam than any other Asian countries.

people tend to see/remember what they want. Like the people I know that say all the women in "this country" are 9-10's, yet the pictures of the girls they hooked up with are 7's at best and usually just average.

I haven't been to Japan. The question was irrelevant.

They only people that think girls overseas are easier/better looking/etc simply don't get out much here or are too timid to act like they do there.

Anyhoo...I have been to most places worth a damn in the US...women are the same everywhere.

Those that travel the world say the same thing.

There are many pluses to being a white young male in Asia and SE Asia. No, the girls aren't going to jump your bones when you get off the plane. Asia is very conservative and most women act shy around foreigners. The bar girls in Thailand are a little pushy but that's because they want your money. 🙂

The best looking Asian women are in Japan, South Korea, and China. They are absolutely beautiful. They have their share of uglies as well. My advice for you would be to befriend a local. Don't hang out too much with other foreigners, and don't frequent the bars that they are at. Too much competition. You want to go to the places that ate void of foreigners, and the only way to visit these places is with a local. I did this in Korea. It is great when you're the only foreigner. All of the attention is on you. Its like you're a rock star. Pretty cool stuff. Most of the good times that I had in Korea were in bars that had zero foreigners.

SE Asia is a very different scene. I'm currently in Thailand and prostitution is everywhere. The girls in Thailand, Vietnam and Laos look up to our culture. They see it as a way to a better life. They are more likely to get attached because they think you could give them a better life. Its just a different scene here, and you need to be cautious. Not everyone is like this. If you do come to Thailand stay away from the bar girls and lady boys. 🙂

The money that you would make teaching in Vietnam lags behind Korea, and China. The cost of living is extremely cheap though.

I went out to dinner tonight with a girl I met in Bangkok. I had Papaya salad. The cost was 40 baht. That's like $1.25 With drinks our dinner cost less than $10 USD.

Broke? I think you believe me not paying my mortgage has to do with me not being able to afford to.

I have a LARGE circle of friends that I hang out with regularly and all these stories about guys that could never meet a girl here and then find overseas a mecca are because they are lying or just meeting low end women there.

I am seen differently everywhere I go. I never have a problem hooking up and it's usually the chick I picked first.

Most of these guys are not tall, not blonde and were not getting laid here even when a woman came up to them. It doesn't work differently suddenly overseas...you may get more interest perhaps, but if you weren't manning up already you are just going to piss foreign women off now.

I have hooked up with some barely english speaking tourists, in a bedroom they are pretty much the same as any woman....just lack the same dialect.

Svlna, honestly, the accurate answer would be "on the edge between the two";

For example, Mexico is a developed country (bad example maybe, but bear with me 1 sec), you get your TV, coca cola, air con and all that. Then you take a bus out of town and you find yourself back in medieval times.

Its great really, because you can have the best of both with a little patience.
So, i'd be more into developing countries rather than developed.

What would put me off is:
extremely low wages; dangerous environments (malaria, cholera, lots of dangerous animals, parasites, and so on), war.
Had a great holiday in santo domingo right during a military coup d'etat, had lots of fun and i never had any problems.

I'm ok with snakes and spiders as long as i dont find them in my shoes .. after i got bit.

Aaactually thats pretty important; if i wanted arrogant women i can find them here. Culture is very different in asia and some women can be a joy to the heart.
I won't lie, thats something very important to me now. But some asian countries are quite harsh when it comes to gf/bf relationships (afaik, like public display of affection in japan, and i hear korean girls are quite materialistic, at least in the big cities) .. while some others you are guaranteed a girl will come talk to you the minute you fall off the plane.
