What I hope and pray for now is that Ashlee will go away and leave the public alone. On behalf of the world community, I implore her to pursue another career. There are many avenues for a young woman of her abilities. Pig farmers need wranglers. The U.S. Forest Service has many outposts in remote areas of our nation?s parks, where one can make all the noise one wants and not be heard by another soul for miles. And if she?s determined to remain in the entertainment field, the horror genre in Hollywood could always use a good screamer.

But as long as people keep showing interest in her - whether it's for good or bad - her agent will continue to book her to feed your appetites. The more curiosity that surrounds her, the more Ashlee Simpson laughs... all the way to the bank. Remember how much Anna Nicole Smith was bashed for being obese, then she took that publicity, landed a television deal, and is now getting rich off of it. If you want something to go away, you ignore it.

You speak as if ATOT is representing the entire population. Whether we choose to gripe about how horrible she is or to ignore her altogether, it's not going to matter ONE BIT. She will eventually fade away from the limelight but until then, I don't see a problem with us posting funny articles on Ashlee Simpson.

Save your speech until someone brings her up after she is completely out of the media.
