They weren't cheap and had to be custom cut. =) We had to get 'not cheap' blinds because of cats.

Cheap blinds are flimsy. These faux wood blinds are very solid. I could have picked up cheap blinds for about $5. These were approx $40 per set. Not terribly expensive but worth the extra cost.

I have something similar at home, they came with the house so I don't know the brand. They are perfect and have held up to "El Destructo" our cat. Mine has a pull cord that I tuck under the mount because that will get chewed on.
 
we used to talk about fapping to hot chicks, now we talk about trim pieces to blinds.

Some of our cheapo blinds in the guest room have suffered a bit of cat damage over time.

Mostly have non custom wood blinds or wood shutters with louvers on the others.
