AS5 Thermal Epoxy?

Sheesh, this stuff works great but have you removed your heatsink after using it a couple weeks? I pulled my huge Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu off to swap processors and the damned processor was glued to the heatsink. Processor came right out with the heatsink with the locking arm still locked in place. I had to pry the processor free.

Good grief! 😛

Yea, I've heard of a few people with P4's doing this. I think it happens cuz of the heatspreader and the increased surface area/contact.

That makes sense.. 🙂 Just kinda takes you by surprise when you pull off your heatsink and see no processor in the socket.. LOL 🙂

Yes Im using regular AS5, I was just commenting that it was LIKE an Epoxy the way it sticks to the heatsink.. 😉
