Just bought some as3 from svcompucycle for $5.99, and it tastes like sh!t...either that or my bagel tastes like sh!t

as2 tastes nearly the same as as3,

I do not reccomend as3 or as2...

On the other hand, Arctic alumina tastes pretty good, It didn't have the stingy stinging sour taste as as silver. Its cheaper and better.

I have yet to try as...

Oh, ok, I hadn't noticed the little "as" in the first post. Ok. Be sure to try some others too, like zinc-oxide stuff, silicone-based, and maybe some nano-therm.😉😀

LCD juice tastes like draino mixed with tide bleach...
 
Do me a favor? make out a will.. have it legalized.. and leave me like.. all of your possessions.. PC.. car... TV .. if it's decent... stereo systems.. sh!t like that..

I have accidentally (doesn't sound like yours was accident) tasted Purple Ice (its like Redline Water Wetter) and it is very unpleasant.

Are you performing some different kind of experiment? Seeing which computer accessory will be fatal?
 
BWhahahahahhaaa. I broke out laughing. It made me happy. So I'll contribute that Radio Shack Silicon Thermal Grease has very little taste, but it leaves your tongue feeling sticky and gross afterwards. My toothpaste does not remove. I have white dot on red tongue. 😛

You poop it out? WTF? It comes out in your urine as silver is a liquid 😉, the thing is that my kidneys are very dry, and the silver solidified =0 and hardened up, felt like 1000 kidney stones all trying to exit out through a 1mm hole
 
Who cares what it tastes like? The real question is, are you getting better thermal transfer? How are you monitoring the temperature of the bagel, anyway... with a Bagel Thermistor, or using the on-bagel sensor?

I have a frying pan and a bagel handy. I placed the TP between the bagel. I then took a "normal turkey temperature taker", and stuck it in the bagel. Finally i put the frying pan on my stove and heated it up to its highest setting.

Temps:

AS3: 317 F
AS2: 480 F
ALUMNA: 517 F
 
Hmm, seems to be a big improvement in temps with AS3. I think I'll start using that instead of the generic I've been using.

You might wanna consider as alumina as it is easier to clean up than the as series and isn't as electically conductive as as2 or as1. As3 is electrically conductive, but it is very very miniscule. AS3 may only give you a 1-3 degree temp difference between as2 and as alumina.

As alumina is cheap, $2.99 for a 1.75g tube that will last for about 25 apps.

Yeah, but my toilet is running cooler than ever. I dropped my porcelain 10 DEGREES when under heavy load (only 5 while idle)!
 
One question, did you drank acetone when switching from AS3 to AS2? Can't leave those residues behind, mate! 😉
