Kyle at All American Computers has let me put D2OL on his test machine to see how a dual Opteron system performs.
I get it for a short period of time, but it's a demo machine meant for customers.
We're running it for just over 24 hours to see what kind of average it can do.

It's node #97596 for those interested.

sweet I will have to take a look...maybe if he leaves it on the machine a customer might run it?!?!?🙂

I wish 🙂
Everytime it will go out the door it will have a fresh install on it.
The idea is for customers to see the advantage of a faster system in thier workplace.

It'll just be nice to see how it performs.
The machine is stock no optimizations at all....

Since no one is at the shop after 6PM EST the client will update 6 hours after the last update. So we'll see the 1st 6 hours of candidate count a few minutes after 11 PM EST.

I installed D2OL a little after 5PM this evening.

Ok 1st results

Total docking time
10 hr, 45 min, 20 sec
Processed 51

So that's pretty good. Total time 5 hours 22 minutes 40 sec per instance.
Not earth shattering yet. We'll see if the mix gets better as it goes along.

😀 Not bad at all. If the average stays at that level its about 25 percent better than my AthlonMP 1900 Dual puts out average.
