QFT... we have killed off too many of their natural predators. The only way to control deer population is hunting. Venison is good anyways.

QFT... we have killed off too many of their natural predators. The only way to control deer population is hunting. Venison is good anyways.

actually you are both wrong. when pressure is put on a deer population their response is to mate more and have more offspring. i am tired of hearing this scientifically false argument. op - enjoy the feast for the winter.

I can't remember the last time I swatted a fly, actually, I tend to let them find their own way out. But I ask you this, if someone swats a fly, how is that a waste of juicy meat? Killing a deer and not eating it is a waste, killing a rabbit and not eating it is a waste, killing pretty much any "game" animal and not eating it is just a waste. Most of those things taste pretty good.

Don't get me wrong, I am definitely not against hunting or some sort of pansy-arsed vegetarian, I just think that there's no point to hunting unless you're going to make somehting out of it. Then again, I also think that shooting an animal with a gun is for pvssies, unless of course it's a bear or tiger or something trying to hunt you first.
