when chatting to people online i am always asked what characteristics i look for in a man

well here they are

a) Can't be selfish
b) Must have some degree of purpose in life. I'm not looking for a superrich man but at the same time i don't want an unemployed Street bum!
c) Must be sensitive and caring and be potentially a good father
d) looks - well i like nice arms but really looks aren't everything. I won't lie, they have some importance but not as much as they do for men
e) Must be confident but not arrogant
f) Must have a sense of humour

I'd say the hardest point to perfect on would be B. I personally find it hard to balance out these two aspects of my life 🙂

Generally with my father I found out later on that he worked extremely hard till he was about 40. Not the happiest time for my mom or my dad but right now they are on easy straight. I'd say it was worth it. But its hard for 'us' the 'younger generation' or any generation to get the priorities right.

That seems like what a guy would imagine a typical good guy as well except for one problem. Most people who have all those character traits aren't cocky enough (or are too shy) to walk up to a woman and say, &quot;hey baby, how's it goin'&quot; or &quot;can I get your phone number&quot; and girls are too timid to do the same. So most guys like that usually end up as the guys who don't ever have the courage to ask a chick out.

Hmm strangely enough I actually fit most of those characteristics. (especially since looks are kinda low on the list) Although I am arrogant, hey I have to be or else I might realize how pathetic my life really is. Crap, I just realized.
