As A result of the president being Re-Elected, I am leaving the country

January 05, I head back to Iraq for between 6 months to a year. I just told my contracting officer I would do it today.

I originally wasn't going to go back, but after the president won...I figured nothing was going to change in how the war was being run..so I might as well go back and try and help as much as I can in my own small way.

So in a way..the president winning prodded me to leave the country.

While I don't agree with your politics, I applaud your courage for wanting to go to Iraq to make a difference.
