hahaha here I am, and I just posted 😛
i think anyone who goes there is in love with the place. i actually got in conctact with an ICT company over there and sent them my resume earlier today. the only thing that REALLY sucks is that most jobs require you to know dutch, spanish, and english fluently.
i honestly would live there and work there.

IIRC, the only way you're allowed to live there (if you weren't born on the island) is if you either are retired or agree not to work. They save all the jobs for the islanders.

nope, i've done my research 🙂
you just have to prove (by bank records and income) that you can support yourself, and get a work permit. HOWEVER, they will ONLY look to hire foreigners IF the desired skills are not present on the island.
basically, you can only work there if you aren't from there IF your skills are not currently present on the island. all the locals get first priority to the jobs on the island, THEN they look to overseas (overseas to Aruba). its VERY tough to move there though and work. just getting a work permit is hard.
i've done some research.
