I went to Aruba back in mid-May but never got around to putting the pics up online until now. The place is the most beautiful place Ive ever been to. I'd highly recommend visitng Aruba. Well here are some of the many pics I took there. All pics are taken with a measly Canon Powershot A85...some with a .45X wide angle lens + tube adaptor. Nice pics, my wife and I stayed at the Bucuti on Eagle beach this past June for our honeymoon. Lovely island to be on.

PS: Anyone else that's been to Aruba love the tap water? It tastes amazing :D

SO beautiful! i would love to go there one day!

its the perfect place. it's too far south (sits right above venezuela) so hurricanes dont reach there, its hot, but its also very windy there so you never get hot, they have awesome seafood and steakhouses, beaches are perfect, and people there are all very friendly. oh and it hardly ever rains there...so no fear of bad weather on your time there.

I think next time I go, I'd stay at the low-rise area. Even though the resorts in the high-rise area are fun and full of amenities, the low-rise resorts have a more intimate feeling. On the same day we visited eagle beach, my gf and I walked down to manchebo beach (like 20 - 30 mins walk) and finally got tired and fell asleep in front of casa del mar. afterwards we were hungry so we went inside and had burgers and drinks by the pool/ocean side bar. They had live music playing and some couples were slow dancing in the nice breeze. It was quite a nice atmosphere

the only drawback I'd say is that its not cheap to go to Aruba. Plane tickets are like $550 pp and hotels there arent too cheap either. But I think its worth it and next time I'd like to go for 10 days

I didn't see any sea turtles at all, I only saw the little egg nests on the beach with the protectors around them. We didn't get to go to Belize this year because my GF had to fly to Nicaragua early August do to a death in the family. So now we don't really have money to go on another vacation right now nor free days from work.

So we may go in February. I want to convince my GF that we should go back to Aruba instead though but we'lll see. I've just been hearing a lot of mixed things about Belize recently, and I'm pretty turned off by the fact you can't just go into the water from the beach. Most places you have to go into the water out from a dock or something.

But we'll see :)

from what I hear, Belize is very laid back and not developed at all. and its supposed to be great for scuba diving. what do you mean you cant go into the water from the beach? beaches are rocky or something?

but hey, cant go wrong with Aruba again. This time rent a car and visit the remote beaches like Mangel Halto and Baby

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency and I'd definately stay there again but Aruba House with friends & family just seems so much more fun.

I can't wait to go back.

Nice photos, thanks for posting them.

I really like your sunset shots, but that one of the divi tree is my favorite.
