Why don't presidents fight the wars?
Why do we always send the poor?
Because they feed us lies from the tablecloth!

the best art is almost always on the cutting edge of mainstream acceptability. Saaaay, who was the crazy picasso guy anyway?
Good art is meant to provoke and challenge the unexamined assumptions and complacency of the viewer.
One of the hallmarks of both nazi germany and stalinist russia was their over-the-top institutional hatred for modern art. Both regimes pushed schmaltzy, traditionalist, bourgeouise/heroic worker, sentimental crap as art, hence the artistic legacy of both regimes is some of the most derivative, mediocre, worthless and forgettable art and architecture ever produced.
If you believe in freedom of expression then you believe in this artist's right to display his work.
Hmm.. No Obama.. No Clinton.. Interesting... No Castro, Chavez, Kim Jung Il? Hmm.. Political agenda? Oh, but he did get the Pope, the Queen, Bush, and Ariel Sharon! Woot! He got the Superfecta! Vatican, United States, Britain, and Israel! Gee.. why would that be?
No Muhamed? No suicide bomber holding a Quran? No Bin Ladin? No King of Saudi Arabia? Cutting edge? Blah.. This guy is about as predictable and cutting edge as the Wesboro Baptist Church at a soldier funeral.
On on positive note, he did somehow sneak Ahmadinejad in there. Woah! That's a real statement there!
Nothing to see here but typical Hate America/Britain/Catholics/Israel first crowd stuff.
Sweet ironing.Blah.. This guy is about as predictable and cutting edge as the Wesboro Baptist Church at a soldier funeral.
Muhammad is not a world leader. Neither is a suicide bomber. Nor is Bin Laden.

You're right up there with Dave, CanOWorms and Patranus as the most predictable posters on this forum. How's that?
The Queen and Ariel Sharon are world leaders? Since when?
While completely ignoring my other 'World Leaders' that I included.. well done sir.. well done!
Because they smell = win.Why don't presidents fight the wars?
Why do we always send the poor?
What would happen if someone in the U.S depicts himself killing the current President of the U.S?
I'll say it: expendable. Next question?
This ain't art. This is a disturbed person lashing out in an artistic form.
?
According to the article, the artist depicted himself killing "world leaders". You listed individuals who were not world leaders.
Article does not say he painted each and every world leader.Castro, Chavez, Kim Jong Il, Saudi Kings, etc are not world leaders? I guess it depends on how you define 'world leaders'. If its someone with the ability to have an impact on the entire world, I think they all apply. How do YOU define world leaders? And if those I listed don't apply, how does the Ariel Sharon, the Pope, and the Queen apply?
