Is there a program that can test for artifcats? Like the sidebar in ATI tool? I'm running a 5700u, and I wanna get the most out of my overclock.

Actually you can use ATI Tool to scan for artifacts, you just can't use the clock controls and so the automatic "max clock" detection won't work. You will have to monitor it manually, but it does work. Another good test is the nature scene in 3DMark03. In another thread, core artifacts are described as pixel popping or white pixels where there shouldn't be, and memory artifacts as shadow screwiness.

Run 3Dmark stock.
After OCing a bit, run3Dmark again, and pay attention.
Trolls Lair and Nature should show them most, though on my ATI card (9600XT), the shader 2.0 test showed pretty bad.
They won't always be dots. In my case, there are dots, cream-colored oddly enough, in test 1, on certain borders, and in Troll's Lair, the shadows about the chick's body (when killing the trolls near the torches) are all messed up.
