when doing a print screen they dont show up so I had to take the shot with my iphone. also when moving a video player (gom/vlc) it goes through it. meaning the player doesnt block it even though its on top,

Q6600 true120
some pos asus MB
gtx660 quite new but I believe it happened with 9800GTX as well so dont THINK its the gpu.

the video was about photography gear- FYI. if you wanted to ask.

btw, im aslo having another issue and even after a new HDD and new install of some games I have the computer crashes. meaning the "no signal found" on my monitor comes up after going black, then reboots itself. this happened before or after the upgrade of the GPU's noted above. I cant play any game. it just crashes right away.
games I have installed mirrors edge/batman arkham asylum/modern warfare 2

LOL...

I immediately knew what this would be, even though the description sounds funny...

It's a video overlay problem.

It occurs if you're playing a video with VLC, pause it, leave it paused on the screen, and then open a web browser and start watching Youtube (while the VLC window is still in the background.)

So the answer is simple - don't play videos and watch Youtube at the same time :)

you may be right! Ill play with the VLC and youtube to see if it comes back.

Im running 331.65 is that an ok driver. go lower or higher?

anybody can tell me about the other issue? why is my system just crashing? no BSOD. just a quick screen goes blank "no signal" comes up on the screen and starts rebooting. some guesses? I regooped the cpu, the NB/SB and I have the true120 and temps are fine with HWmonitor. just not understanding why.

cheers
