Artifacts on Video Rendering

This is an example of it during a video. Its similar while playing games. It spontaneously began while playing Mass Effect 3 today. I've had no issues with this card in the three or more months I've used it.

Specs:
I5-2500k
Asus p8z68 pro gen 3 motherboard
Gigabyte Windforce GTX 670 (stock speeeds)
304.48 driver

I tried running unigine Heaven, and it is full of color blobs and artifacts while not in wire mode. In wire mode it has snow like the pic above. 3d mark 11 won't even initiate a run, it just crashes. I attempted to reinstall the driver. I chose clean install, and it powered off my pc, then bios beeped on a loop for about 5-10 minutes with no change. I manually powered down (help power button until off), then restarted. It had no driver according to dxdiag, and so I reinstalled it without the clean install. It now registers again with 304.48, but no change to my problem.

Any other ideas or suggestions, or do I just warranty return to Gigabyte?
 
Overclocked processor? GFX temperature? Poorly shielded VGA cable?

I use a 60" LED for a monitor, with HDMI cable connection (monoprice brand for all cables). Precision X shows mid 40 c temp while running game. I'm running a 4.2 overclock, very mild.

I don't believe these are the culprit. Thank you for the suggestion though.
 
overheated/faulty video RAM?
Can you try underclocking the video RAM?

Or maybe underclock the GPU core and the video RAM, and if the problem goes away, try raising the GPU speed and see what happens. Then, underclock the GPU again and try raising the memory speed and see what happens. This assumes the problem goes away when underclocking.

If the proble doesn't go away when underclocking, then repeat the underclocking procedure above, except raise the voltage.
 
Just thought I'd offer a follow up:
I RMAd the card and was just informed it was shipped back to me and they found a faulty component (not sure which one). So I'm out $30 to ship it to them (they cover only 1 way shipping) on a $400 three month old card. Not to mention that the original purchase from another vendor was dead on arrival.

I'm very pleased with the card when working, but they could probably do with some sharper eyes in the quality department.


Thank goodness I have integrated graphics so I could still watch my videos to keep me going, although still not an even replacement for Mass Effect 3...
 
I can understand charging if the card checks out fine, but charging for the shipping when the card was faulty? Did you deal with Gigabyte directly?
