And no, not a single person left the show when it went to satellite. The show has been better than ever since the move.
 
I can't get the audio to play beyond 1-2 seconds.. it plays, then finishes. 2 different computers, IE & Opera on each.

It's pretty amazing he's still alive. He seems like a funny guy though, but he's always been very obese and on heavy drugs. Everytime he's on a talk show it's like a cry for help...like last time he was on Conan.

wow i just listened to the show and that was amazing. I have never heard anything like that. I really hope they play this on howard tv because i need to see what artie actually did. seems like he bull rushed him and you could kind of hear punches being thrown. To bad to see artie go. Loved him on the show.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised to see Artie go to rehab and be allowed to return. We shall see. He seems deeply self-destructive, and I think the next couple of weeks will be a very dangerous time for him.

In a funny way it's very much like what happened with Jackie - he has somehow talked himself into believing he can make it without the job. I love Artie on the show, but he is at best an average standup comic, and yet he has become the biggest draw of any comic in the country, other than Dane Cook. He makes high five figures or more for every show. All of that will go away if he leaves the show, and a year from now he'll be back to the club scene. His goal of a cushy job on a sitcom will also go away, because he's too unreliable and, well, likely to die to get a job like that. His life as a public figure will be largely gone. I find the whole thing really sad.
 
Heard em on youtube this evening as I missed the show today, tried to catch the replay but well, there was no replay.

Crazy shit.

Anyone think Artie is on drugs again? His reactions lately as well as the crazy sleeping make me think he is.
 
listening to it now. i was out of town without Sirius or a decent Internet connection so I couldn't listen live.

aww, it was a sweet job, he got tostare at tits all day while making snarky comments and vegging out. he did seem kinda lethargic and dejected lately..
 
I kind of side with artie here. I mean here's this assistant who's admitting that Artie has loaned him a great deal of fuckin cash and he really doesn't give a shit. He's blaming Artie and raggin on Artie when he should be kissing his ass doing everything for him - I mean $40,000 for a PART TIME job?!? This fuckin guy should kiss Artie's feet. I wanted to attack the assistant too, I don't blame Artie at all.

I like how Artie blames Howard for riling him up (which he may have) and says that his physically attacking his assistant is Howard's fault (?). Typical addict mentality, blaming everyone else for his own behavior. Zero personal responsibility.
