Good article that shows the inherent racism and abuse of our legal system, where the prosecutors are in bed with teh cops, and even defend teh cops at a grand jury to ensure they get away with murder.

So much for justice.

Clark wasn’t even there to testify about the boy. The grand jury was investigating two Cleveland police officers—the rookie who fired and his veteran partner—to determine if there was probable cause to believe that they’d acted unreasonably and unlawfully when they drove to within ten feet of the boy and, even before stopping, shot him. Clark is an expert in that general area, police shootings. He spent more than 27 years with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, where, among other things, he taught officers the proper use of force, investigated officers who used deadly force, and helped write tactical deployment guidelines designed to minimize the use of force. Since he retired in 1993, he has studied hundreds of fatal use-of-force incidents, and he has testified many dozens of times in state and federal courts.

Clark had studied all of the available evidence in this case—video, witness statements, forensic reconstructions—and he had prepared a report detailing his findings. He did not believe the officers acted reasonably, and he did not believe the shooting was justified. When he was called to testify, on December 7, he expected he would summarize those opinions, answer a few clarifying questions, then be dismissed with a polite thank-you for his time and effort.

So the entire Grand jury was basically setup to let the cops off, no matter what. Nice white-wash, in more ways then one.

Nice, huh? Perhaps our expert esteemed cop apologists can explain this as being perfectly normal and correct behavior? How the cops are blameless and the system isn't broken?

This:

Rice's gun was later found to be an Airsoft replica that lacked the orange safety feature marking it as a replica and not a true firearm.

Plus this:

In the aftermath of the shooting, it was reported that Loehmann, in his previous job as a police officer in the Cleveland suburb of Independence, had been deemed an emotionally unstable recruit and unfit for duty.[19]

Equals a dead 12-year old.

No, it can't be a problem with the officcials who the citizens of Cleveland elected to make these kind of decisions because that would mean that they were at fault. No, we gotta make it into something systematic that we're all responsible for and can be blamed for. It's the entire nations' fault and our inherent racism that forced the prosecutor to not vigorously pursue an indictment in the grand jury, the DA had no choice in the matter. The great racist citizens of these 50 states and various territories promised certain doom if they didn't obey our bigoted demands to kill more black kids.

The public voting in officials that continue to promote institutionalized racism would certainly be a systemic problem. Perhaps through ignorance or carelessness, it is still an issue that needs to be addressed and made known.

Cops will have to be prosecuted for their crimes, or racial issues will only get worse in this country.
