Is there anything wrong with the original Artic Silver? For some reason drying out comes to mind when thinking of this stuff.

Should I toss it and get something newer?

Artic silver 5 is only $5.99 shipped from svc.com or bestbyte.net. I'd toss the 1. I've used all the artic silver products and like 5 best. I think it is easier to work with and does the best job from what I've read.

shoot I was searching for something and pulled this up and replied.......maybe useless.. sorry...
 
Do what you want, AS 1 is just fine, AS 5 is better, but not "have to go out and get it immediatly" better. I still use my AS 2 and AS 3 tubes just because I have them, all work great. If you are ording something allready online, then add the AS 5 to your cart, otherwise it is not worth the shipping cost when you all-ready have a good product.
