artic silver 5

im putting artic silver on my cpu and just need some help or tips on the best method.. thanks

For most cpu's they reccomend you put a small dab of it in the center. Push the heatsink down mount it, and then give it a slight 1 degree twist to the left and right ( if you can ). That should remove the air bubbles and spread it out nice and evenly. I just put on a new heatsink and that's how I did it, and it worked out ok for me.

Are there any problems appling too much AC to processor? From these instructions, I think I did.

If it's running over the side of the CPU, that's too much 😀
