artest suspended for the whole season

So, even though I watched the replay 1000 times, did Artest hit the guy that actually threw the cup at him? Or was mistaken identity?

Wow. I thought they deserved to be suspended, but not for that long. I hope they are able to do something to the idiot fans involved too (ban them for life from games or something, I don't know what they could really do)

Safe to say the Pacers are going to flat out suck the rest of the season.

Mistaken identity. Presumably part of what got Artest in so much trouble is that he didn't see who threw the cup and just guessed when he attacked someone. The fact Artest was attacking the wrong guy may have also provoked the crowd further.
 
After reading about Artest I think he should be banned from the NBA, seems like he is nothing but a punk.

One Artest didnt punch the short guy in the stands, he pushed the guy down and tried to punch him but was held back. Jackson sucker punched someone with a haymaker. The only guy Artest actually punched was some lardass that went on to the court with his hand cocked, Artest dropped his fat ass with one hit.
