I have 2 antec 550 tc and 1 enermax 465 - all produce similar results.

Okay, that rules out the psu's, then! That means it's your motherboard(s). The psu not only has to be able to supply the power, but the motherboard has to be able to distribute it propery, also.

My 2.4c@3.1ghz and 9800seaiw softmodded run off a 180watt psu with an 865pe motherboard so I doubt power supply is an issue

Amazing. What mode is it? Got to be pretty good quality stuff. I have a 400w psu that came w/ my case (a name brand case but w/ a different brand psu, forgot what is it). It ran ok (w/ neon, too) while it was running but it buned out in <2 month.

That is possible.

I defintiely have problems (slow down video oc when I oc the cpip more) w/ a 8rda+ and a 9500np. Slow down the fsb and I can run at higher oc . At high enough fsb, I cannot even run 3d app (although p85 seems to be ok -- not 100% sure as I lost interest in testing p95 for too long after finding out 3d does not work). This most likely is due to North Bridge (older release of Nforce2)

I also have problem w/ p4p800-deluxe and a 9800pro. This may be memory related since I could oc better using a 2.4c at 280 fsb and 5:4 memory vs., 3.0c at 245fsb and 1:1 memory (water cooliing). Come to think of it, it is very similar to dp004i's problem but mine only reqiure a slowdown if memory clock by 1 or2 notiches.

But I have no idea why system memory (which passes any other tests I have heard of, and it would pass any 3d test if I slow down the oc) would cause artifacts??

On my other rig's, I beleive I have similar problems but never tested them seriously - I do not play games at all.
