I wonder if everyone will run this one up like that Visioneer scanner at Staples just recently. If not... why not? It's a nice slim scanner!

The $20 rebate is for Math Success (Sku 462631) AND Science Deluxe. Be aware! The best is to use ViaVoice $20 with $20 rebate to get the scanner and the software for just the tax.

IBM VOICE is $30 with $20 rebate. And the rebate is not from Staples.

It's better to use the combination of Imation CDR + Flatbed Scanner.

You better read the fine print on the Math Success rebate. It says you must buy both Math Success AND Science Deluxe to qualify for the $20 rebate, and Science Deluxe costs $40!
The deal comes out to about $50 after rebates!

Now that we are all getting this scanner for free - Is it any good or will it end up in my pile of shiite with all the other "Hot" deals that ain't quite so hot?

Does anybody know if this scanner is a good one? I have never heard of Artec...

The IBM ViaVoice is $29.99, but will be $19.99 on 4/7/02. So I will be free after IBM's rebate then.

Yeah, and they are SPEEDY with the rebates. Just got a $70 check for one of the Visioneers that so many of us bought (multiple times!) and it took exactly 28 days from the day I mailed in the UPC and copy of the shipping document.

Initially filing the rebates online seems to really speed things along.
