Staples charges tax.

I dunno, I've had it w/ these free or cheap after rebate CD-Rom's that break down after a couple months.

But it would be good for a cheap lower end system that wont be used much I guess.

I dont like those generic cdroms either but for the price, this is a great deal. Staples rebates are pretty quick also.

This is the best drive you can get for $10+sh. I have an older Artec and it's pretty good. You can find a review of the older Artec 52x @ Storage Review
