I don't believe so, the Ars one (Peter Bright) was posting there right up until he was arrested. So how do we know for sure that drpizza of ars is not the same drpizza of anandtech? Didn't they simply stop posting at the same time?
Yeah, with some other places I've seen, the mere accusation of a sexual crime gets all associated articles removed. But here Ars kept the content online of convicted pedo. It's obviously profitable for them, even as they sweep the issue under the rug.I noticed Ars seemed to have changed his story bylines to "Ars Staff."
Dude, please. Tom and I had our "philosophical" differences at times, but anyone who knew our Dr. Pizza knows he's the exact opposite of a pedo. Among the approximately eight million things that Tom did and does at the very highest level, he's one of the most brilliant and caring and inspiring HS math teachers any student could have.So how do we know for sure that drpizza of ars is not the same drpizza of anandtech? Didn't they simply stop posting at the same time?
Why would anyone disappear a good article because the author did something somewhere else? That's dumbass liberal think. A new coat of wax and some shiny plastic makes the world all better, right?Yeah, with some other places I've seen, the mere accusation of a sexual crime gets all associated articles removed. Also after he was first accused, dozens of pro-pedo examples were pulled from his forum posts and social media by people just doing random searches on the internet. Under normal circumstances absolutely nobody would hire this guy, yet Ars had absolutely no qualms in doing so.
I hear you, to a point. Why would anyone disappear a good article because the author did something somewhere else? That's dumbass liberal think. A new coat of wax and some shiny plastic makes the world all better, right?
IMO, history is a matter of record, and an accurate record is of the highest importance. The future is what can, and should be changed.Otoh, I well understand the impetus to disinfect our common history from the stink of sexual perversion and murderous facism.
