Well, it is official, my Ipaq is gone. It had everything you could imagine in it.

This morning I put it on top of my Jeep when I remembered I had to take out the trash. I remembered that I had put it on top while I was going 80mph down the highway. I went home for lunch to try and find it, and it is gone. I bet it fell off in my driveway or something, and some punk kid found it, and is showing it to his friends right now. Arrgh.

 
the EXACT same thing (different car though) happened to a pack of 200 CDs I had.

I guess losing a laptop is worse... but this was a compilation of music I've been building for years!!! At any rate, I feel for ya buddy

I remembered seeing in the newspaper this guy who lost like $5,000 in cash because he left his organizer on top of the roof while opening the doors to his car. The money was suppose to be deposited into a bank for a church event after he left the supermarket.

You never know if somebody might return it back. 🙂

That and countless times leaving the keys in the car, realize what I've done as I slam the door.

My dad did that with his wallet once, when I was about 8 years old.

He blamed me for it. said "you shouldn't ask me things when I'm getting in the car, it's distracting, it's your fault, etc..."

my dad always blames everything on me, my brother, or my mom....

lol you guys.. I have used my Elite MS Word skills and created a Lost / Reward sign I am going to post when I get home. Hopefully some hot soccer mom will see it and bring it back. The thing that sucks is I have no one to blame but myself. (oh I guess I can blame the trash)
