Well, if that is the case then I will wait for the price to drop. No way paying top dollars for one time platform.
 
I quite like the Strix E board, it has SEVEN m.2 slots on it and also a lot of USBs on the back panel. It looks like a very nice "budget workstation" board. If the 285K ran apps I would need well, I would not hesitate to build a system using these components. But I am not such a user and I am just exploring new stuff and will most likely end up returning the board and the CPU.

I believe that these boards will have one more generation of CPUs for them. In fact, if Arrow lake CPUs will remain problematic in certain areas, despite the future efforts to fix them, it increases probability that this platform will receive another CPU gen, which will work "more normally" and more in "standard manner".
 
So I grabbed an z890e Strix and a 265k Thursday. Took me 5 times to get Windows installed and activated. Then once I got all my apps installed and tried to play Fortnite it either crashes(BSOD) or due to a known issue with the Anticheat wont load. Mind you I usually look at reviews first but this time i just grabbed it. I know there are usually glitches and kinks that have to get worked out as an early adopter but i have never had so much trouble installing and using a new platform in my life.

Ive been trying. Someone gave me a link about 2 days ago but they way its was laid out wasnt sure how to use it and there were too many versions. Any suggestions?
