Season 1 and 2 of Arrow starts of slow too but hits its stride once it gets past the weekly villain part and the story arc pans out. I think Season 3 will be the same.
 
Just finished season 1 of arrow. Is it bad that im more interested in what happened on the island than whats going on now? Seems a way more interesting story.

Nope. I was the same way. Island scenes were my favorite. You'll like season two. Island and overall arc ties heavily.

ok i only saw bits of one episode last year and it was flash back of some dude in a boat and on the island. I assume this is the same tv show.

if it is, yes what happened on the island.. let me know if i should find a way to watch this

My biggest complaint about season 2 is that the flashback sequences felt a lot shorter than in season 1. The backstory still existed, but it seemed disjointed.

She must have gotten something done. Season 2 is the worst though, the first time she came out it was like looking at a totally different person. Compared to the way she looked when she was in Supernatural, it was like night and day.

Strangely enough, her character got beat up this season in one of the earlier episodes, so she was hospitalized, with no make-up, complete with bruises and scars, etc. and my reaction was "well somehow she looks a lot prettier this way!". So because of this I'm guessing it's also some terrible make-up decision that made her look really weird in this show.

Arrow feels like it's going through the dark Knight trilogy

Season 1 with the Glades = Ras destroying Gotham
Season 2 with Slade = Joker creating chaos
Season 3 going missing = Ras killing and the gangsters taking over the city.
 
so for anyone who has read the comics, does his sister get the training in that too like she is now?
 
Last episode had a nice start, old him back in the city while current one goes back to the island.
 
I don't know if Arrow is also gone for a month like The Flash is, but the last episode of The Flash was awesome at the end.

Arrow will have another episode next week, then its off for two weeks and then Flash and Arrow to be back at the same time.
