Anyone can have beliefs and stick to them. It is a willingness to be open to other beliefs that is a mark of true leadership.
i dont think belief is the right word. advice or opinion would be better suited.
so, going on that, it is also a make of leadership to know when to reject faulty advice and when to embrace good advice. its also a sign of leadership to do the right thing, especially in the face of unpopularity.
