Arrgh, our female employees had to ruin it for everyone

When I started working at my current job I was wondering why we never have casual fridays when most small and medium companies do. I found out from a few coworkers that they did use to have casual fridays every week but because many of the female employees started caring less and less about what they wear, top management decided to do away with that priviledge. Only recently did they start to bring it back but only during the last day of the month. And from what I've been seeing it'll probably be taken away pretty soon again.

So ladies, please have some decency. This is work, not going out to the club. And because of your decisions, you are ruining a day for us guys who have to wear a dress shirt and tie all week long.

...And this friday is Hawaiian T-shirt day, so feel free to wear jeans, and uh.. a Hawaiian T-shirt, mmkay?...

Yeah, mm-hmm....

Why not still enforce a dress code, just a little more casual? Men can wear (blank) and women can wear (blank). Would that not be a good way to go about it?

every day is casual Friday at this company..
my company believes that if we are comfortable we will work harder...
only rule is no t shirts, shorts or sandals..

my last job didn't enforce a strict dress code, so my female coworkers would often wear midriff's, skirts, and short skirts. i didn't mind. 🙂

same thing happened in highschool

girls would always be the ones breaking the dress code.

burn them at the stake! 😀

Where I work I get to wear shorts, tank tops, and sneakers. The physics weenies wear the same with birkies or worse. The AA for our group is hot and she wears pretty revealing clothes.

No dress code = bliss.

I just thought it was funny that here I am at work, wearing a t shirt, shorts, and sandals. 🙂 (And so is the CEO)

some of the girls around here are incredibly lax when it comes to dress. bright neon miniskirts or open back shirts are the norm on nice days. Yeah, you're not in customer service or working reception, but have a little tact.

i love my women, but a high-profile pharmaceutical company has a rep to maintain, get my drift?

Mmmm......hotness distracting at work.........I would be even less productive

Hot women @ work could be more destructive than ATOT!! 😀

dang women, always distracting us hardworking men...

Why don't they institute a casual friday with rules? Last place i was at had it... no baseball caps, no tank tops, no sandals, etc.

So nice at my office...wearing my Sambas, jeans, and a collared t-shirt. Woohoo! Beats the hell out of wearing a suit every day in the DC summer!

hell ya jeans and a golf shirt every day..
makes life a little better..
I could not wear a suit every day screw that..

i would love some hot women over here. I think my company has an unspoken rule against hiring any mildly attractive female. all the women here are old and ugly.

then again, i work for the software development team of a health insurance company

sucks to live on the east caost, don't it 😛

Seriously, out here, a polo and khakis are fine 7 days a week.

My wife has a coworker who weighs about 250lbs and is only about 5'5". They used to have casual Fridays but she would wear spandex HEAD TO FREAKING TOE.

Some people should be forced to look in a mirror before they leave the house. I can just see baby Stewie trying to climb out from the rolls.
