The walk-of-shame was a great running gag. I'm not sure which was funnier -- that, or George Sr. as Saddam.

I just recently watched season 1, straight through over three days......there is a reality to it, while still being absurdely unbelievable.

It was a total scene right out of charlie brown. If you notice, there were kids running by him first and they were carrying a xmas tree, the music was playing from the charlie brown xmas special and the dog on the doghouse was a tribute to snoopy. Now why they kept it running through the whole show I have no idea, but I kept laughing everytime.

I would have called it "sit-com" in the title, but it's not. Not even in the way Seinfeld was.

Arrested Development is more satire, sort of like Police Files, but not really. It's unique in that respect.

 
I saw one episode (they went to mexico to look for his dad). It was alright. Didn't really laugh that much except for bounty hunter and I kind of giggled a little when the detective showed up, but that is it. Other than that, i did not care for it.

i just cannot get into it. last night was the 3rd time i tried to get into it ... i just could not. it sucks cause its hard finding something to watch between my big fat obnoxious boss and the simpsons. atleast espn football was in HD last night 🙂

The one liners come so fast its hard to remeber them, thats why I love my tivo. When they were showing Ice's yellow pages ad I read at the bottom "see also: Party Planners" and was thinking WTF is that all about. Then it comes up later in the show. I had to rewind it to show my wife. His ad is next to Gene Parmesans ad. Which read...all disguises are original gene parmesan designs. (or something along those lines) It was in last weeks episode.
