They stop showing it for baseball, and when baseball's finally over, they decided to cancel the show because all the fans didn't tune back in right away for the first two showings. Like people can really keep track of ****** like that. I bet most of the people that watched it didn't realize baseball was over, because no one cares about baseball.

Kitchen Confidential was pretty good too.

Arrested Development was a GREAT show. I'm going to pick up the DVD sets.

Although, in typical Fox fashion, it was virtually impossible to keep track of its air time. If it weren't for my DVR, I would have no idea when to catch it during the week.

Haven't they been talking about cancelling it for a long time now? I don't think it had anything to do with baseball.

I bet it comes back ala Family Guy. I would love to see another network or cable network step up to the plate.

They gotta leave Family Guy though.

Remember, they canceled that show too. Even winning awards, fan base, I guess Rupert Minidick thinks he knows best.

Whoever does Fox's scheduling needs a swift kick to the crotch. They'll play something just long enough to get your attention and you start watching it consistently. Then they'll not show it for three weeks for whatever reason. Then when they start playing it again they move the time up an hour. So you adjust. Just to find out next week that they moved it to another night. And then people get frustrated with the timing changes and viewers go down and Fox gets the feeling that people don't like the show so they pull the plug on it when ultimately it's because of some ADHD affected moron working for Fox that causes the fallout because they can't make up their minds and make a serious commitment to a time slot.

Hmmm... didn't like the show so doesn't matter to me. But if they cancel Family Guy again, I'm gonna be pissed.

I hate Fox programming and scheduling people as much as anyone. They were directly responsible for Family Guy and Futurama failing due to mobile time slots and football pre-emptions. In this case though, they're not to blame. They stuck with Arrested Development for 2 and 1/2 seasons despite ratings that warrented cancellation early in season one. It wasn't a case of taking a successful show and sinking it by trying a new time slot. AD failed in one slot, so it was tried on a different time and night. It failed there too and was moved again and failed in yet another slot. Fox did everything they could to save the show. The ratings just flat out sucked no matter when or where it was broadcast.

Too bad, I thought the show was hilarious. I can understand why it failed though. The deadpan delivery and no laugh track made it impossible for people with no sense of humor to know when to laugh.
