Only an extremist would think that saying one tradition or aspect is bad means that the entire culture is bad or inferior.

I've 'talked' (if you can even call it that, it was more like he was blabbering like a 13 year old) to someone on this forum that felt that if you said that wiping your hands in feces is wrong, then you're saying that an entire culture is bad. Now that's just nutty.

I'm saying that arranged marriages are dumb. In my culture we choose who we want to marry. There isn't a chance in hell that I would have found my wife if I lived in a culture where my parents arranged a marriage for me.

I probably will go that route also.
With the help with my family, I probably will go back to Vietnam one day and find someone I'm attracted to.

For me, if I do get married, I have to find the other person sexually attractive.
I know alot of people settled once they get a certain age and feel like time is running out.
I can't see myself doing that.
