Crooked, worthless poluiticians(sic). That would include the Bush administration?

Um, no. If you weren't a Nazi, and spoke out against them, then the SS took you in the middle of the night, and shot you in the back of your head.

Nice try asshat.

That is'nt what you said earlier in this very thread
Just about anyone who was in government during that time was a nazi. You signed up, or lost your job.
dumbass asshat.

You said the dixie chicks, who spoke out against the current government. I said someone who either did or didn't sign up who was in government. Apples and oranges. Asshat.
No he just said you were treated like the Dixie Chicks not like the Dixie Chicks who spoke out. He was referring to how you were treated if you were a non member, not how you were treated if you spoke out and were then treated. See we aren't that far gone over here yet. You just read in the speaking out part well because you are an asshat and can't think too well and of course because, like the Nazis you thought you could start the process up on Zebo because he spoke out and you with your Nazi mentality, didn't like it. But all you do by doing that is show everybody your basic Nazi instincts and fundamental identicalness of character. And of course you irritate me because I have to waste my time responding to the lowest common denominator on the board instead of this tremendously important information that Arnold's father was a Nazi. So please learn to speak with a civil tongue, double-dumb-asshat-combo, and disagree with somebody intelligently and in a gentlemanly manner instead of making a fool our of yourself. Thanks.

It's a good thing they got rid of that rule about name calling or Insane3D or one of the mods would be in this thread jumping all over you moonie.

I have to admit I agree that the sins of the father do not lie upon the son. Did you learn that in your therapy sessions?

Everytime I have been asked my ethnic background and i reply german someone says either "youra nazi eh?" or asks if my grandfather was nazi.

That's how it can be if you are a white southerner in the US. White southerners are frequently portrayed as rednecks and racist simply because slavery was legal in the south up until 1865. It doesn't matter that only 1 in 5 southerners owned slaves, and that slavery ended over 150 years ago, if you are white and from the south you are a redneck.

nazis, republican, whats the difference 😀

Of course there is no difference if you think of the political spectrum in 1 dimension instead of 3. Heaven forbid there could be another dirrection rather than left or right and there is a possibility that "political parties" could be on the left on one issue and on the right on another... There are huge differences between the nazi party and the republican party....If we are going to make parallels nazism is closest to libertarianism on most issues but the two are so far apart it is hard to imagine that relatively they would be the closest. Although I suppose that on the Anantech forums (the land of 1's and 0's) that shades of grey are still just 1's and 0's.

"He is a barely articulate, pumped-up bodybuilder with a cupboard full of skeletons. But could it be that Arnold Schwarzenegger was always destined for a career in politics? And if he becomes governor of California next month, is the White House next?"

Yeah okay, pity there a rule where you have to be born in america to run for the white house

He won't get replaced by Davis but he sure as hell will be recalled. Of course the only thing I want to know is how long will it take Rep's to recall Arnold ? I mean once Arnold starts on with his anti-gun/pro-abortion/anti-bible-thumper/social welfare...I mean programs, how long will it take for Rep's to recall one of their own ? I mean face it Arnold would never get past a single primary if this were a official election and not a re-call.

I disagree, I think Arnold has some real substance esp. considering his economic views. He is definately a good counter to Davis' economic policy and maybe the best thing for CA right now. Only time will tell...

"He said that he wanted businesses to come back to California so that the state government could collect enough tax revenues to provide social programs. This is the sort of obtuse comment middle-of-the-road Democrats always make, forgetting that businesses are leaving the state because they are tired of paying high taxes for those big government social programs."

More: "He has told the press he is 'very liberal' about social programs, supports abortion and homosexual adoption, and advocates 'sensible gun controls.' "

"Asked about a news report quoting aides saying he was open to tax increases, Schwarzenegger said: "I can't imagine anyone on my team said that." He said that his solution was not raising taxes or cutting programs, but to "bring businesses back to California." But Schwarzenegger offered no strategy for attracting business. In fact, he has argued for reversing an increase in the car tax ? which would cost the state treasury billions ? even as he has advocated for more spending on school buildings and teacher hiring."

Oh yeah and we can blame the prison guard union for the hike in registration fees ! Though I doubt that a real Rep would be able to fight them on the issue and not have almost every law enforcement union decide to back a Dem instead.

Don't trust everything you hear and see on TV my friend ! Seriously am a Libertarian through and through but damit I guess I feel sorry for you guys getting duped here by Arnold and the media. Of course I would rather that this re-call would of never happened, because well it is already going to cost us $300 million dollars that we probably don't have or need badly somewhere else. To see someone like Arnold get elected well I think that would cost Californias a lot more down the road then the $300 million we are wasting right now.

I don't think it will make much difference who becomes Gov. of California at this point. The state has painted itself into such an economic corner, there is no one who can turn it around without really pissing a lot of people off. It will be political suicide for whoever is next.

Just about anyone who was in government during that time was a nazi. You signed up, or lost your job. He was just a flunkie policeman.

I have a couple of girlfriends from Austria and they told me the countryside folks didn't know about it after 1 year later, I think the people from the city got into it.
